HOW TO FEEL AWESOME EVERYDAY AND DISCOVER YOUR SUPERPOWERS

We all have that little voice in our head, the one responsible for our fight or flight mode. It sometimes tells us not to do something or to worry about doing something at the very least. However, did you know that you can push that fearful side away from you and feel awesome pretty much all day long?

YOU DECIDE how you feel and need to take that control back from the habits you have now.

Our feelings are our guides, our intuition that guides us through our days, nights, and throughout our life. So, if you want to feel awesome, there are things you can do to hush that negative little voice and have the more positive, happy and that cheerleader vibrant voice come front and center.

YOU CHOOSE 

You are in control of your own thoughts

 

Happiness is a choice. You can choose to look at the dark side of the situation or you can focus on the opportunity or the lesson that is ready to be learned in your situation. Sometimes things come into our lives in order to teach us, not to punish us, but to teach us. Sometimes when a door closes, it is to show you the direction you should be going, to turn you in the correct direction. It is NOT a bad thing, but sometimes seems like it but it is how you choose to see it.

You can choose to feel miserable about the one thing that you do not have, whether it is a steady job or a significant other. Or, you can choose to focus on the fact that you have a beautiful family, friends, the sunny day, the rainy day, the ocean, your kids, your health, a job, a roof over your head, a bed and you see where I am going here. The list is endless if you are looking at it in the right perspective.

When you are going down a spiral of negativity, and YOU KNOW we have all been here, see if there is not something, even just one thing that you can focus on whether it is a past memory or a future hope or dream. Make a choice to focus on that and to content in the moment in which you stand.

FOCUS ON THE GOOD

 

For some of us, focus comes a little easier than others. However, focus is a learned skill and GETS BETTER WITH PRACTICE. If you can feel better, why wouldn’t you want this for yourself. If you seem to be a “Debbie downer,” try to incorporate things into your life that make you a bit happier and more optimistic. You will see the world open up when you change your focus.

For example, place beautiful pictures of real-life nature scene, pictures of you laughing or having fun with friends and family, adventures you have been on or want to go on, sunsets, or create a vision board for your office wall, bathroom, bedroom and the more the better. It helps you see yourself in these places and feel how it feels. Choose sunrise pictures and focus on the sunrise and you will feel better knowing that each day is a new possibility for anything great to happen.

With a little practice, you can retrain your brain to focus on positive memories and positive thoughts.

It will take practice. The habits you have now, you have had years to create but the awesome news is you can create new, better ones.

It does not mean that you have to be oblivious to your worries. It does mean, however, to find those things every day for which you can be grateful. Here are a few examples if you need a starting point:

* Your health, eyes, ears, legs, arms

* The health of your children, friends, family, co workers

* The roof over your head, a car, a bike, a bus pass

* You have a job

* You got to wake up another day, your bed, blankets

* You can sit at a park, see the trees, the sunset, the sunrise

* You have limitless potential, you are amazing

The list is endless when YOU CHOOSE to look at the things you already have.

If you focus on the positive, it will grow. If you make a choice every day to smile and be happy, share your kindness with others, you will get closer to your goals and closer to lining the life you want to live. You can turn your dreams into your reality.  If you find something every day for which to be grateful, chances are that you will have that much more for which to be grateful. WHY NOT take the challenge today. TAKE ACTION STEPS NOW!
